Designing & Balancing Tren, in Dreams
I started at Media Molecule to work on exciting projects, one of which was Tren. I designed the special Ace Challenge level, 'Ninja Octopus', owned balancing across the game using playtest data, and assisted with the design quality pass.

Designing in 2D for The Siege and The Sandfox
After graduating, I joined Cardboard Sword to work as a Level Designer on the 2D stealth metroidvania 'The Siege and The Sandfox'. I designed and built 2D levels, and scripted gameplay in UE4.

Blocking Out & Designing a Futuristic Power Plant
On my masters, I directed our group game project - Novem. My primary task was designing our second level - a sci-fi, futuristic power plant. This involved creating a greybox that allowed for a non-linear path of exploration for a side scroller.

Building a Simon Stålenhag & Nick Stath Inspired Forest
On my MArt Game Art, my secondary task was to build a forest for our first level, The Outskirts, using foliage assets provided by Synty Studios, hitting narrative beats as the player guided forward to ward the Power Plant. This space was inspired by Simon Stålenhag & Nick Stath artwork.

Creating a Concept Gadget for a VR Battle Royale
As a side project, I tried creating a concept gadget for a possible near future VR version of Apex Legends. The challenge was to translate their HUD to the gadget. I edited the VR template blueprint so I could try on the gadget in game.

Studying the Composition of 'The Last Night'
Generating pixelation effects, learning about camera angles and improving my lighting skills in Unreal - all to recreate this scene from Odd Tales' future title, during my second year at university.

Designing Conker Magazine's Second Issue
I was commissioned by CONKER to design their first and second print issues. Being an indie publication, I had more creative freedom over the layout and aesthetic of each page. CONKER is now sold by stockists across the UK, US and Canada.
